Photographs published here are either produced by Mauritanian Eye or submitted by a contributor who confirmed they hold the rights and agreed to their use on this site. Contributors keep their rights; publication here is a permission, not a transfer.

Temporary illustrations

Some pages use a temporary illustration while a real photograph is being sourced. Those images carry a visible disclosure and are never presented as a photograph of the place. They are replaced as soon as an owned photograph is available.

Moderation of submissions

• ·Every submitted image is reviewed before it appears publicly.
• ·We reject images the sender does not have the right to share.
• ·We reject AI-generated images presented as real places.
• ·We reject images that identify people who have not agreed to appear.

Takedown and credit requests

If your image is published here without your permission, or the credit is wrong, contact us with the page address and a way to identify the image. We remove or correct disputed media while we look into it.
